Description
PT-141 (bremelanotide) is a synthetic cyclic heptapeptide analogue of α-melanocyte-stimulating hormone (α-MSH), stabilised by a lactam bridge between its aspartic acid and lysine residues. It is studied in laboratory research relating to melanocortin receptor activity.
The molecular formula of PT-141 is C50H68N14O10, with a molar mass of approximately 1025.2 g/mol.
