Independent Lab Testing: Why Third-Party Verification Matters
Not all “tested” claims are equal. There is an important difference between in-house testing and independent, third-party verification — and it directly affects how much confidence you can place in a purity figure.
The Conflict of Interest Problem
A manufacturer testing its own product has an inherent incentive to report favourable results. Independent laboratories, with no commercial stake in the outcome, provide a more reliable check.
What to Look For
- A named, independent testing laboratory (not an in-house or affiliated lab)
- A batch number on the report that matches the vial you received
- Both identity (MS) and purity (HPLC) data, not just one
Our Approach
We make independent lab testing data available for the batches we stock. If you would like to see the report for a specific batch, contact us with your order details.
