General Questions
Peptides are short chains of amino acids linked by peptide bonds. The peptides we stock are produced synthetically in a controlled laboratory setting, typically using solid-phase peptide synthesis (SPPS).
Some lyophilised peptides are blended with a small amount of mannitol as a bulking agent to aid stability and visibility in the vial. Check the individual product page, as not every peptide is formulated this way.
Appearance can vary slightly between batches — colour, cake structure and vacuum seal strength depend on the lyophilisation process used and are not an indicator of quality on their own. If you have a specific concern about a vial, contact us with your order number and photos.
Where listed, yes — pre-blended vials combining two peptides are available as a convenience option. Check each product page to confirm whether a listing is a single compound or a blend.
Vial sizes vary by product and are listed on each individual product page. Common sizes include 2mg, 5mg and 10mg lyophilised vials.
Correctly stored lyophilised peptides are generally considered stable for an extended period when kept refrigerated and protected from light and moisture — see our Reconstituting & Storage page for detailed guidance.
Lyophilised peptides should be stored refrigerated, protected from light, and reconstituted only when needed. Full step-by-step guidance is available on our Reconstituting & Storage page.
Yes, bacteriostatic water is available separately as a lab supply for reconstituting lyophilised peptides.
Custom synthesis requests can be discussed on a case-by-case basis — contact us with your requirements and we will advise on feasibility and lead time.
There is no minimum order value to place an order. Some delivery options may have their own thresholds — see the Delivery Options at checkout.
Our range covers peptides commonly studied across performance and recovery, weight management, and anti-ageing research, among other areas. Each product page outlines the research context for that specific compound.
Lyophilised peptide is an extremely fine, low-density powder, so even a full 5mg dose can look like a barely-visible film or light dusting at the base of the vial — this is normal and not a sign of a short fill. Purity and content are instead confirmed via the batch Certificate of Analysis rather than by weight.
Reconstituted peptide solution should normally be clear. Cloudiness can indicate a handling or contamination issue — stop use, note the batch details, and contact us so we can look into it.
We can point you to general handling and storage guidance; we do not provide specific research protocols, as study design is the responsibility of the researcher.
Yes, promotional codes are occasionally available — check the banner at the top of the site or our Best Discounts menu for current offers.
Research peptides can be lawfully bought and sold in the UK for laboratory research purposes. All products on this site are sold strictly for research use and not for human consumption.
Quality & Testing
Yes. A Certificate of Analysis is available for the batches we stock — see the product page or contact us with your order details to request a copy.
Where available, third-party HPLC purity and identity testing data is provided alongside the Certificate of Analysis for a given batch.
Common by-products include truncated or deletion sequences, deprotection by-products, and trace solvents from synthesis. Batch-specific data is reflected in the Certificate of Analysis where available.
Net peptide content is the percentage of a vial’s weight that is actually peptide, once moisture, counter-ions (such as acetate), and other non-peptide material are accounted for — distinct from purity.
Purity describes how much of the peptide content is the correct, intact sequence (measured by HPLC). Yield describes how much total product was recovered from the synthesis process — a batch can have high purity with a modest yield, or vice versa.
Endotoxin data, where tested, is included in the batch documentation. Contact us if you require endotoxin testing information for a specific batch.
Ordering & Payment
We accept Credit/Debit Card, Pay by Bank (Open Banking), and select alternative payment methods shown at checkout.
Orders are processed as soon as payment is confirmed. Orders placed before 3pm on a business day are typically dispatched the same day.
Payment confirmation and receipts are normally sent within a few minutes. Check your spam/junk folder first; if it still has not arrived after an hour, contact us with your order details and we will check the payment status.
Contact us as soon as possible after placing your order — we can usually amend an order before it has been dispatched, but cannot guarantee changes once packed.
Please see our Refund and Returns Policy for full details.
Yes — wholesale enquiries are welcome. Get in touch via the Contact page with some information about your research organisation and expected order volume, and we will advise on options.
Shipping & Delivery
Standard and expedited tracked shipping options are available at checkout, with pricing shown before you pay.
Orders placed before 3pm on a business day (Monday–Friday) are dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 3pm are dispatched the next business day.
UK delivery times depend on the shipping option chosen at checkout — see the Delivery Options section for estimated timeframes.
All orders are shipped in discreet, plain packaging with no product branding visible on the outside of the parcel.
Contact us with your order number and a description of the issue as soon as possible — whether that is damage, a missing item, or a delivery that has not shown up — and we will sort it out.
First check the tracking link emailed to you. If tracking shows no movement for an extended period, contact us with your order number and we will investigate with the courier.
Please double-check the delivery address confirmed on your order email first. If the address was correct on our end but delivery still went astray, contact us with your order number and we will investigate with the courier.
This usually means the courier was unable to deliver — often due to an access issue or unclaimed parcel. Contact us with your order number and we will arrange redelivery or a resolution once it is back with us.
Customs & International
Most destinations can be served, but a small number of countries are restricted due to import regulations on research chemicals. Contact us before ordering if you are unsure.
Most destinations are supported — check the shipping options at checkout for your country. If you do not see your country listed or you are unsure, contact us before ordering.
This can happen and is usually resolved once customs processing completes, though timelines vary by country. Contact us with your tracking number if it has been stuck for an extended period and we will help however we can.
International orders may be subject to import duties or taxes charged by your country’s customs authority. These are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices.
No — any import duties or taxes charged by your country’s customs authority are the responsibility of the recipient and are not included in our prices.
If a parcel is rejected or seized by customs, contact us with your order details so we can advise on next steps.
No — we declare all parcels accurately in line with customs regulations. We are not able to under-declare value or mark commercial orders as gifts.
Contact us with your order number — we will open an investigation with the courier, though international investigations can take longer to resolve than domestic ones.
Returns & Missing Parcels
Contact us with your order number as soon as you notice a delay. We will open an investigation with the courier — this can take a few business days to resolve.
Couriers require a formal investigation window before confirming a parcel as lost, which allows us to process a replacement or refund fairly.
Check with neighbours and any safe-place instructions first, then contact us — we can request delivery confirmation (e.g. photo or signature) from the courier.
In most cases we will wait for the courier investigation to conclude before resending, to avoid duplicate shipments. Contact us and we will advise on your specific case.
